Footwear Policy Pixel Planet

  • The Pixel Grid is a barefoot experience for safety and to protect the interactive floor surface. Barefoot use provides improved grip and helps reduce the risk of debris (such as stones, dirt, or mud) damaging the tiles.

  • Recommended Footwear:
Closed-toe shoes with good grip may be worn if preferred. Socks alone are not recommended due to increased slip risk.

  • Footwear Requirements:
All footwear must be clean, dry, and free from dirt, mud, stones, or other debris before entering the Pixel Grid. Guests who have been outdoors or in unclean environments may be required to clean or remove footwear before participation. Staff reserve the right to refuse entry to footwear deemed unsafe.

  • Barefoot Participation:
Guests may participate barefoot at their own risk. While barefoot use may improve grip, it may also increase the risk of minor injury.

  • Safety & Conduct:
All participants must follow staff instructions at all times while using the Pixel Grid. Unsafe behaviour or failure to comply may result in removal from the experience without refund.

  • Pixel Planet is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from failure to follow staff instructions, unsafe behaviour, or use of unsuitable equipment or footwear, to the extent permitted by New Zealand law.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law, including liability for negligence causing death or personal injury.

5. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

  • Payment required at booking; walk-ins accepted if space allows.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your booking receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking incur a 50% fee which is calculated on the total booking amount.

  • No-shows may forfeit the session without a refund.

  • Pixel Planet may cancel or reschedule bookings for operational reasons; alternative times or refunds will be offered.
