1. Where are you located?
Pixel Planet is now open in Hanmer Springs at The Village Shopping Centre.

We are easily accessible and within walking distance from most local hotels and accommodations.

2. What are your opening hours?
 Monday: 10am - 6pm

Tuesday: Closed

Wednesday: Closed

Thursday: Closed

Friday: 10am - 7pm

Saturday: 9am - 7pm

Sunday:  9am - 6pm

 We will be closed on Monday 11th - Thursday 14th of May. Apologies for any inconvenience.​

3. What is the age limit for the attractions?

• Pixel Grid: Suitable for all ages, with a minimum age of 4 years old.

• VR Simulator: Suitable for ages 5 years and up.

• Children under 12 must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the premises. Drop-offs are not permitted. Pixel Planet is an interactive entertainment venue and not a childcare service.

5. How long do the experiences last?

• Pixel Grid: 20 minutes 

• VR Cosmic Coaster: 10-12 minutes

• VR Race: 3 Laps for a Full Race Session 7-8 minutes

• VR 360: 8 minutes 

• VR Blaster Gun: 10 minutes

• VR Magic Carpet: 8 -10 minutes

• Massage Chair: 20 minutes

• Group Combo: 35 minutes

6. Do you have parking available?
We do not have on-site parking. However, there is off-street parking available in the town centre, and our venue is within walking distance from most hotels in the area.

7. Can we bring food or drinks?
We insist that food must be eaten outside of the venue. We do provide drinks to purchase in-store, and we insist that any drink must be outside of both the Pixel Grid and VR simulator gaming areas.

8. Is there anything I need to know before coming?

• The Pixel Grid is fun for all ages, while the VR Simulator is best suited for guests aged 5 and up.

• Be sure to wear comfortable clothing, as you may need to move around during both experiences.

• The Pixel Grid is a barefoot experience for safety and to protect the tiles. If shoes are worn, they must be clean and free of debris. Socks are not recommended as they can be slippery.

• All floors are cleaned regularly by staff each day.​

 

9. Is booking required?
While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time especially during the weekend and rainy days.

10. What type of games are available on the VR simulators? 
Our VR simulators offer limitless adventures for the entire family.

Soar above cityscapes as a daring eagle, pilot a spaceship through acrobatic air flights, twist and turn on thrilling rollercoasters, battle zombies, pirates, and gigantic alien creatures, or enjoy magical rides perfect for little ones. From heart-pounding battles to exciting slides, there’s a world of fun waiting for everyone!
